In the Beginning
“On the night I feel that thing again, the hunger that overtook me on the beach, I know this would have happened anyway. That what I need to survive is not Gale’s fire, kindled with rage and hatred. I have plenty of fire myself. What I need is the dandelion in the spring. The bright yellow that means rebirth instead of destruction. The promise that life can go on, no matter how bad our losses. That it can be good again. And only Peeta can give me that.”

4,448 notesI think I’ll call it blind love. I learned about it today. It’s when you love someone even though they have flaws. But so far that sounds like true love. The difference is blind love isn’t a good thing. It’s when you loved someone through the flaws that cconstantly hurt you. You don’t have equal real true love. It’s a cover and fake front. Maybe the blind love came out of the fear of losing something, someone, or letting go of everything in your past that you felt had to be there. But after a few life changing moments and broken hearts you end up finding a true love that you were blind to before. So don’t worry. love isn’t like what they showed you it was. You’ll see and know soon enough and live life without the past’s burden. Accept the new future you didn’t know. Jesus loves.
