The One Thing You Don’t Know Yet
I forget sometimes that everything I do is for you. I guess that’s why its a good thing that I write here on Tumblr what comes to my mind and what happens in my life. So that people know that no one is perfect. Sometimes I hear and see non Christians say that we Christians think we’re all high and mighty and perfect. I’m telling you now. If it’s a true Christian, they know how messed up they are. We are completely aware of our mistakes, which is why we ask forgiveness all the time. In that way, we are a holy people and blameless because God takes away the sin. BUT we are not CONSTANTLY sinless even though we should and try to be! We pretty much constantly sin because we are that imperfect! I’m sorry that sometimes others and especially myself have put up a front that makes it look like we’re better than you. We’re not. The reason I’m writing this is not because I think I’m better than you and I think you need to be taught. Honestly, the reason I’m writing this is because there is one thing I know that you don’t, not because I’m smarter or better than you, but because my timing was different. The one thing that I know and you don’t is that Jesus Christ is God, and knowing that drives me crazy because I want EVERYONE to know that too. It’s one of those things that you think is so cool and you just can’t keep it to yourself and you tell all your friends and people you just meet because you just love it so much. I know sometimes you think we’re annoying. I get it. We keep coming to you about it, we’re soooooo persistent and we seem to try to get to you anywhere and everywhere. But I want to ask you to just take like 30 seconds and wonder why we want to get to you so bad. Maybe it’s not because we are just random people for the same cause that happen to have the quality of being annoying. Maybe there’s a reason that we care so much. Yeah I changed the word from persistently annoying to care because that’s how much we care…we come annoying because we care soo much about you. I know we don’t know you, but the thing is ….God does. And He sent us annoyingly caring people to just let you know that He is there, He exists, He wants to hear from you, and He really wants to talk to you. I know you think I’m crazy there too. God, the one I can’t see is going to talk to me? Well it starts with the Bible. Look I’m saying on the off chance that He might exist, I’m asking you to take any amount of time you can muster and just talk to Him; He won’t care if its 5 seconds or 5 hours, honestly. You have nothing to lose if you do it, but everything to gain if He exists right? He’ll answer you. He’ll answer through another Christian, through something, or most commonly through the Bible. Just 5 seconds or more, just say what’s troubling you, what’s happening, what’s good with you, anything. If all you really got is 5 seconds and you don’t know how to do this, to talk to God, which I understand because I mean you can’t see the guy, I’ll help you out. Just say in your mind or out loud: “God, if You exist, I need You.”
I know I don’t know you, but I care about you, and as hard as it is to believe, I love you.
